SKILL DEVELOPMENT CLASSES (Classes limited to six players)

A great program for house and travel players looking to improve their overall skills.

Program objective is to improve forward & backward skating, turning, stopping, forward and backward cross-overs, edges, balance, puck handling, forehand & backhand passing and shooting skills.

Mite (2002, 2003, 2004, 2005)

ACCELERATION & AGILITY CLASS (Squirt, Pee Wee, Bantam)

Hockey requires quickness and the ability to stop and start and change direction quickly.  Program objective is to improve mobility and lateral movement, acceleration and foot speed.

PRE-SEASON TUNE-UP CLASSES

AUGUST 23-26, 2010

A great opportunity to start the new season in stride.  Classes will focus on skating, puckhandling, passing and shooting skills, on-ice conditioning drills and 3 v 3 games. 

At the Pee Wee level, players will also receive instruction in BODY CHECKING and the SLAP SHOT.

Classes are limited to six players per age group and enrollment is first-come-first-serve.

Goalies - More opportunities to make a save in game situations.  They will face more shots in 15 minutes of small area games than they will in an entire full ice game.

  • Stimulates offensive and defensive play       
  • Fosters a love and enjoyment of the game because it is FUN!!!
