SHAUN HANNAH

Power Skills Hockey Director Shaun Hannah is the former Head Coach of the NCAA Division I Sacred Heart University Pioneers Men's Ice Hockey Program (1996-2009). Prior to his coaching career, Shaun played professional hockey in the East Coast Hockey League and was a four-year letterman and captain of the Cornell University Big Red

As coach of the Pioneers, Hannah was named Coach of the Year in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference after the 1999- 2000 season. He was among 10 finalists for the Spencer T. Penrose Memorial Award as the NCAA Division I National Coach of the Year during the same season. 

A native of Mankota, Saskatchewan, Shaun is one of six siblings to attend the preparatory boarding school Athol Murray College of Notre Dame. Shaun has a brother and two sisters who followed in his footsteps and played NCAA Division I hockey in The Ivy League. Hannah resides in Newtown, Connecticut, with his wife Amy and their daughter,  Emma and son Owen
